The gods do all they can to help Kariss but there are rules even they must abide by. Kariss must toughen up and learn quickly. Albion is no place for the weak. And she is sure it cannot be long before people discover she is not who they think she is.
Every time she sleeps Kariss is transported back to London, where her life is becoming unbearable. Slipping between worlds is bound to take its toll and as time passes Kariss grows increasingly desperate to remain in Albion forever.
